Now when they both come together again the communication is not re-establishing as the CP goes to a hang state by declaring the fault of "Charater delay time exceeded" and I'm not getting ay value in the receive buffer although the Tx and Rx indication is present. Now the problem is, the two CP is situated at two different moving machines and whenever the partner machine moves away from the other for maintenance purpose the communcation breaks down as the dB level falls below the threshold. However, I'm making a cyclic trigger to check the communication with each other. were a wee ict much change has occurred alues of strictly flrst-class kind. The CP is communicating with the another CP341-1 over RF network in ASCII protocol and data send receive is performed on event trigger basis. is strong and higher was put up to 19S before the break, reh raid about. I'm facing the same problem of "Character Delay time exceeded" (Event ID: 0806) with a CP341-1 which is connected with a Radio Modem. The voltage difference with the backplane and the Earth is 0 Volt. I have changed the CP card of the PLC which is making problem but to find the same problem is reapeating again and again after some duration of time which is also not the same always. I checked the problem never happens with other PLCs. When I disconnect the cable between CP341-1 and the Radio Modem and just connect it back the communication gets healthy. And this problem is repeating after every 5-6 hours and some times after 8-10 hours.

And after the testing when I connect the serial cable of the Radio Modem back with the CP341-1 the data flow starts at HMI, i.e., communication with that PLC gets healthy. Now, I have disconnected the COM cable connected in between CP341-1 and the Radio Modem and connected a serial cable to the COM port of my PG to find the data are coming as expected. In this condition I have checked with my CP341-1 of that particular PLC and the radio modem is showing healthy status (the Tx and Rx lights are blinking as expected). Now, the problem is: the healthy active communication (some packet with cyclic trigger points and some with event based trigger) are getting hanged/unhealthy of a particular PLC after some lump-sump duration of 5-6 hrs. The communication is healthy in between 5 PLCs and I am getting the necessary data at necessary PLCs by comparing the Header of the Packet which are broadcasted. I am broadcasting the data from different PLCs through the Radio Modem and which are being received at the other modems/PLCs. And there is no Modbus Protocol I am considering, there is no node address to be defined. I am configuring the CP341-1 in ASCII and all the necessary parameters is been set.

For the purpose I am using a Radio Modem (Calamp Made/Guardian Model) having a COM port of RS232 interface. I am using a CP341-1 RS232 card (6ES7 341-1AH02-0AE0) to communicate in between 5 nos of S7-400 PLC (peer to peer communication) over wireless network.
